Entertainment Finalized & Help Us Make this a Trash-Free Event July 23, 2009

We are looking for a few more volunteers to help out with serving food, running food, and helping at the recycle/compost station.

We are hoping to make this an as-trash-free-as-possible event.  Please bring reuseable/compostable place-settings for the meal [we'll have a few on hand, in case you forget].

DJ Fern will be MCing the evening and the full entertainment program includes: Pax & Tex LaMountain, John Currie, and Michael Orlen.

Volunteer Update July 13, 2009

Just over a month until the Free Harvest Supper, we need day-of volunteers in addition to 4 volunteers to help pick-up some of the tables and chairs on Friday afternoon (8/14) , and return on Monday morning (8/17). Does NOT have to be the same 4 people!

Franklin Community Coop members can speak with Member Services about applying their volunteer time to member-worker hours.

Greenfield Free Harvest Supper Aug 16th, 2009 July 5, 2009

The 2009 Free Harvest Supper will be held on the Greenfield Town Common/Court Square.  4:30-6:30pm

In 2008, we served over 700 community members and raised over $2000 for the Farmers Market Coupon Project of the Center for Self-Reliance.

The Free Harvest Supper is a huge group effort of  50 local farms and businesses and over 100 volunteers.   Join us in making 2009 a success!!
